By booking a session or engaging PsychElli for services, you agree to these Terms.
I do not have a ydernummer (public health insurance agreement). Sessions are not subsidised by the Danish public health system. Full session fees apply (private pay).

- Couples therapy (90 min)
- Life coaching (50 min)
- Executive coaching
- Team workshops
- Organisational consulting
Coaching vs. Therapy
Therapy addresses psychological distress, mental-health concerns and diagnosable conditions. Treatment of a diagnosable condition is exempt from VAT under Danish VAT law (momsloven).
Coaching addresses goals, transitions, leadership and performance. It does not involve diagnosis or treatment of psychological disorders and is subject to the statutory Danish VAT of 25%.
Where therapeutic concerns arise during coaching, we will discuss this openly and may agree to shift the work or refer you elsewhere.
Fees and Payment
Individual therapy / Life coaching: 1,150 DKK per 50-minute session (approx. €155)
Couples therapy: 1,600 DKK per 90-minute session (approx. €215)
Reduced rate (students / unemployed, valid proof required): 900 DKK per 50-minute session (approx. €120). Slots are limited and primarily available 10:00–14:00 weekdays; requests outside this window will be considered case-by-case.
Business services: custom pricing in a written proposal.
Payment: due after each session via MobilePay or bank transfer in DKK or EUR.
Cancellation
- 24+ hours notice: free rescheduling
- Less than 24 hours: full session fee charged
- No-show: full session fee charged
For business engagements, separate cancellation terms apply as set out in the individual proposal.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Where you are a consumer booking and prepaying for services online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Forbrugeraftaleloven § 18 (transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU). The right lapses once the service has been performed with your explicit prior consent. The cancellation policy above applies thereafter.
Online Sessions
Online sessions are conducted via Google Meet (Google Workspace). A signed Data Processing Addendum with Google applies, and transfers of personal data to the United States are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with GDPR Chapter V. Recording is not permitted by either party without prior written consent.
If you are located outside Denmark at the time of an online session, you are responsible for ensuring it is legally permissible to receive psychological services in that jurisdiction. Some countries restrict cross-border provision of regulated psychological or psychotherapeutic services. Please check before booking if you are unsure.
Confidentiality
As a psychologist I am bound by a professional duty of confidentiality under Danish health law, under § 152 and §§ 152 c–f of the Danish Criminal Code (Straffeloven), and by GDPR Art. 9. Information from sessions is not shared without your explicit consent, with the limited exceptions: imminent danger to you or others, suspected child abuse or neglect (Lov om social service § 153), or court order. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Clinical Records
Records of our work are maintained securely and electronically, and kept for as long as required by the record-keeping obligations for psychologists in Denmark and no longer than necessary.
Business Services: Contract Formation
For business services (executive coaching, team workshops, organisational consulting), a binding contract is formed only upon a written signed proposal from PsychElli and written acceptance from the client. Scope, deliverables, deposits and cancellation terms are specified in the individual proposal and supersede the cancellation policy above where they differ.
Workshop materials, slides, frameworks and reports remain the intellectual property of PsychElli unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use deliverables for internal organisational purposes.
PsychElli does not provide crisis intervention. If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact emergency services.
