About Elisabeth

A psychologist who understands both clinical work and the real world of organisations.

Elisabeth Gadner

I became a psychologist because I believe people deserve to be seen, heard, and understood — not judged, not 'fixed', but professionally supported. My expertise is grounded in evidence-based clinical and organisational psychology, with years of experience in related fields like HR, project management, and diversity & inclusion. But what matters most isn't my CV — it's whether you feel safe enough to be honest and present with me.

My approach is shaped by seeing people in their specific context — whether patients, clients, leaders, or teams. I am open-minded and resource-oriented, focused on building a trusting, transparent, and compassionate professional relationship. Studies show that up to 70% of therapeutic success depends on the quality of the therapist-client relationship. That's why I prioritize building a genuine working alliance that strengthens well-being and supports lasting change.

I don't have all the answers and solutions — and I won't pretend to. But I bring my expertise in mental health and emotional well-being, showing up present, human, and committed to helping you successfully navigate whatever you're facing.

Approach

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. What works for one person might not work for another.

Instead, I focus on understanding your specific context, your goals, and what you need right now.

Some sessions might be deeply therapeutic. Others might feel more like strategic problem-solving. Both are valid.

Evidence-based but flexible:

I use methods that research shows to work—including CBT, systemic, narrative, or attachment-based approaches—but I adapt them to you, not the other way around.

Direct and supportive:

I will guide you through challenging phases while simultaneously challenging you to take the next step.

Practical and actionable:

Insight brings clarity. Practice brings change.

Important for International / German Clients:

I practice in Denmark. This means:

  • - No German Approbation (but Danish authorization as a psychologist)
  • - No billing through German/public health insurance
  • - Private payment required (via MobilePay in DKK or bank transfer in DKK/Euro)
